Good Monday to all, hope the weekend was fabulous for all!  This morning I opened to Job, a rather difficult few pages I read to garner understanding, even for me.  Only a few quick lil things stood out to me so it will be brief today.  Maybe you all upon reading Job your self could get better understanding.  If so, please feel free to share.

First,..... For affliction does not come from the dust, nor does trouble sprout from the ground; but man is born to trouble as the sparks fly upward......Job 5:6-7

The meaning I get here is just a reminder to us that we are born in sin and sin remains with us thru life as the sparks, spirits ascend constantly.  As long as we are in this world, we will be prone to sin.  Does that mean to give up? Oh heck no!  But that we continue to persevere and focu on Him to aid us in our journey.

Second, he tells us basically what I just said.....As for me, I would seek GOD, and to GOD commit my cause; who does great things and unsearchable, marvelous things without number:  He gives rain upon the earth and sends waters upon the fields; He sets on high those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.....Job 5:8-11

Thirdly,......Behold, happy is the man whom GOD reproves; therefore despise not the chastening of the Almighty.  For He wounds, but He binds up; He smites, but His hands heal.  He will deliver you from six troubles; in seven there shall no evil touch you......Job 5:17-19

The devil plaques us with troubles, but some are from GOD and with good reason.  I have addressed this before.  They are to strengthen us, teach us, test us, discipline us or even to lower us sooooo that He can raise us up to show us His being, truth, existence, power, glory, might, love.

The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation.  He is my GOD, and I will praise Him, my father's GOD, and I will exalt Him....Exodus 15:2
