Good Thursday everyone, sorry today's post a lil late.  Hope it was great day for all.

Today I opened to a few things, first to the preface of the Bible, where it tells of the history some for the Bible.  I recommend to all to read the preface of whichever of the multitudinous renditions of the Bible you possess.  It should open up your mind and remove the blinders and tunnel vision many have regarding the Bible.  It has been translated and edited sooo many times and there are sooo many renditions today, that for someone to think that their edition is the exact and complete truth of GOD is very naive.  GOD wants us to learn about Him, especially from Him directly.  Educate yourselves on the Bible, asking Him to guide you to learn it's history and broaden your mind.  It is very dangerous to go through life with the world is flat cause the powers that be say so mentality.  Learn, learn and keep learning. It is amazinggg how much there is to learn.

Then I opened to Job and read the pages I opened to.  I will post Job 28 full chapter here now, ending in tie in to what I just said.  Interesting that He had me open to the preface first, then Job 28,  He is wonderful how He answers me when I ask Him what to talk about each day.

Job 28....
Surely there is a mine for silver, and a place for gold which they refine.  Iron is taken out of the Earth, and copper is smelted from the ore.  Men put an end to darkness, and search out to the farthest bound the ore in gloom and deep darkness.  They open shafts in the valley away from where men live, they are forgotten by travelers, they hang afar from men, they swing to and from.  As for the Earth, out of it comes bread; but underneath it is turned up as by fire.  Its stones are the place of sapphires, and it has dust of gold.  That path no bird of prey knows, and the falcon's eye has not seen it.  The proud beasts have not trodden it; the lion has not passed over it.  Man puts his hand to the flinty rock, and overturns the mountains by the roots.  He cuts out channels in the rocks, and his eye sees every precious thing.  He binds up the streams so that they do not trickle, and the thing that is hid he brings forth to light.

But where shall wisdom be found?  And where is the place of understanding?  Man does not know the way to it, and it is not found in the land of the living.  The deep says, "it is not in me," and the sea says, "it is not with me."  It can not be gotten for gold, and silver can not be weighed as its price.  It can not be valued in the gold of Ophir, in precious onyx and sapphire.  Gold and glass can not equal it, not can it be exchanged for jewels of fine gold.  No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal; the price of wisdom is above pearls.  The topaz of Ethiopia can not compare with it, nor can it be valued in pure gold.

Whence then does wisdom come?  And where is the place of understanding?  It is hid from the eyes of all living, and concealed from the birds of the air.  Abaddon and Death say, "we have heard a rumour of it with our ears."   GOD understands the way to it, and He knows its place.  For He looks to the ends of the Earth, and sees everything under the heavens.  When He gave to the wind its weight, and meted out the waters by measure; when He made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder; then He saw it and declared it; He established it, and searched it out.

And He said to man, "Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding."

Job is telling us that the Earth is full of valuable things and man has found it and keeps doing so, in this modern day as precious gems and oil etc.  That man has and is remodeling the Earth, power to change things.  All our knowledge, but where is wisdom and understanding?   Nothing in the earth, nothing made by man, nothing visible can equal it he tells us.  Abaddon and Death can not find it.  Death we know that of course.  Abaddon is a Hebrew word and its Greek equivalent Apollyon, meaning a place of destruction as in the Pit alongside Sheol, the land of the dead, and an angel of destruction who led the locusts as king of the locusts in Revelations.  Neither could find wisdom, but heard rumour of it.  Only GOD knew where it was.  He made everything and establish its place.
Fear of the Lord is wisdom and understanding is to flee from all evil!

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.  It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Colossians 3:23-24

Seek to please Me above all else.  Let that goal be your focal point as you go through this day.  Such a mindset will protect you from scattering your energy to the winds.  The free will I bestowed on you comes with awesome responsibility.  Each day presents you with choice after choice.  Many of these decisions you ignore and thus make by default.  Without a focal point to guide you, you can easily lose your way.  That's why it is so important to stay in communication with Me, living in thankful awareness of My Presence.
You inhabit a fallen, disjointed world, where things are constantly unraveling around the edges.  Only a vibrant relationship with Me can keep you from coming unraveled too.

GOD Bless!
