I am jumping ahead for today to share the  9/11 victim messages I had received over the years.
Both speak of the power of forgiveness and its importance, and also that those we lose are always with us, and around us just call or think of them.

This first is clearly from one of the jumpers from the twin towers, very powerful.

Freedom's angels take flight
Floating out of morning's night
Many follow the first to soar
Soundlessly out of the coming roar
Of sirens, cries, screams of horror
Gazing down at the woman in the
             man's arms who bore her
Ashes in the mists, souls fill the air
Nothing in this world could compare
To the Light, the glory that waits for those
Who seek to follow us in heavenly repose
I am here with all the rest
Always with you at your behest
Fell through the air, I felt free at last
Free from pain, sins of the past
Followed by others who sought same escape
Twas no way out from the flames, our lives they did rape
Taken from us, they sought to destroy
Used all means at their employ
They too ascended to less glorious fate
Mislead by those so full of hate
Twisted, their souls are now free
Forgiveness must be given just as He
Told all men so long ago
It will open your mind to what your heart does know
Love one another, no matter the color
As you do to the Father, Son and Holy Mother.

This one is clearly from United 93 in Shanksville, PA.  I visited the site  1 and 2 yrs after.  I could sense the angels there, it was very solemn and peaceful in that country setting.

We are the few
         who disappeared from view
We are the ones most never knew
Disparaging thoughts of future tense
Spun through our minds amidst suspense
Fear and terror filled our hearts
Yet we had to do our parts
Bestowed on us by the Lord to face
To sacrifice our lives, thus take our place
Amongst the angels of glory and honor
And stand before the Mother, our eyes upon her
For she was there with waiting arms
Knowing what lay before us, all the harms
Peace be upon those we left behind
We are with you always in heart and mind
Call to us and we'll be there
Comforting you, helping you to bear
The pain and sorrow you carry within
From all that was and has been
"Lets roll" was our fateful call
That led us here beyond the pall
Angels surround us and guide us
Their beauty and Light endow us
Many more joined us that day
All the chaos and disarray
Cacophony of angels trumpet the sound
Spirits soaring, buildings fall to the ground
We left behind many we love
As we journeyed far above
Skies of never-ending blue
Follow the Light and we'll see you
Never gone from within your hearts
You still remain to do your parts
Forgiveness is the greatest gift
For it shall mend the terrible rift
We know the pain that you endure
Release its burden, grow ever pure
No more sorrow, no more grief
Life on Earth so very brief
Here today, gone tomorrow
Time spent there only ours to borrow
Love one another with all your being
Believe in all your heart is seeing
Let go the heat that burns inside
Free the love you seek to hide
Come to us when Lord commands
Shed your skin, take our hands
We will guide you home at last
All the suffering, a thing of the past
Misguided fools sought to destroy
All that's good, all that's joy
Failed to do what they planned
Too much goodness, Earth's been manned
Evil shall never reign
For the Lord comes again
Til that time, soon shall be
Seek the Light, then be free
All you need dwells within
Focus on it, darkness can't win
We shall return when your need
Causes pain, your heart to bleed
Always with you, never fear
Time of reunion draws ever near
Savor the time you have left to live
Never take, always give
Love the Father, Son and Holy Ghost
And you shall join the Heavenly Host.
