What is GOD?   GOD is Light, the grace of all Heaven and Earth and all places known and unknown.  GOD is everything, everyplace, every time, every dimension, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end and all pts in between.  GOD is inside, outside flowing through all time and space.  Look anywhere and everywhere and see GOD.  Let me share what truly is my first message!  I received this the first time I felt the Holy Spirit, tho not knowing what it was at the time.  I was in tenth grade I believe or ninth.  I was moved to grab pen and paper and go sit outside on a beautiful day in Buffalo, tis a rarity for sure.  This is what I wrote....


                                                                        GOD IS

GOD is small
  GOD is tall
GOD is strength and power
  GOD is a blooming flower
GOD is a newborn baby
  Neither yes or no but maybe

GOD is the will to do things
  Not emperors or almighty kings
GOD is the sun high up in the sky
  GOD is she and he, you and I
GOD is peace
  And the high-flying geese

GOD is a tree spreading its limbs afar
  GOD is the healing of a scar
GOD is Almighty
  Not a bit flighty
GOD is knavery
  or just plain bravery

GOD is a beautiful young lass
  Who runs through the tall green grass
GOD is giving
  Throughout the living
GOD is your father and your mother
  GOD is your sister and your brother

GOD is fame and glory
  GOD is the telling of a Holy story
GOD is the rich and the poor
  Who strive to live forevermore
GOD is the singing of a bird
  GOD is a baby singing its first word

GOD is doing unto others as you would have them do unto you
  GOD is helping each other your whole life through
GOD is a butterfly flying high and low
  GOD is you, from head to toe
But the most important thing from above
  GOD is a thing called love...........

GOD is simple in His complexity, yet complex in His simplicity.

But grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ's gift.  Therefore it is said,
"When He ascended on high He led a host of captives, and He gave gifts to men."
(in saying, "He ascended," what does it mean but that He had also descended into the lower parts of the Earth?  He who descended is He who also ascended far above all the Heavens, that He might fulfill all things.)...Ephesians 4:7-10
What is Paul telling us here?   By the Lord's grace we each were given some measure of the gift of the Christ.  We each therefore have a purpose!!   He descended into the darkness to claim those who had been there and to claim who belonged to Him and rose with them with a host of captives as he tells us.  He then ascended thru all the layers, levels of Heaven establishing His reign over all the Heavens and the Earth, thus taking power over all. 

And His gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the equipment of saints, for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of GOD, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every word of doctrine, by the cunning of men, by their craftiness in deceitful wiles.  Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every joint with which it is supplied, when each part is working properly, makes bodily growth and upbuilds itself in love.
Ephesians 4:11-16
Here he tells us that we with all our special gifts are here to learn and grow and share our gifts in teaching others, learning and growing as one in one in the spirit of the Christ.
