Thank you to a few of you who have renewed by spirit the last few days, yes I struggle some days as well. I get frustrated at times too and definitely get attacked by the Devil and his lil helpers.
Which is a good first topic to discuss. As we go through life, many bad and difficult things happen to us, and even tho GOD is with us and we grow stronger in His Light, they still happen to us at times. How many know someone who is such a wonderful person, yet bad things keep happening. As I had said in earlier posting, these things happen for a number of possible reasons. GOD's doing for discipline, strengthening, testing, detour around something worse, or teaching. Then there is the Devil! He has had free reign a very long time, to do anything he wants. And he does, to try and pull us away from the Light. He can not do it against our will, nor will GOD pull us to the Light against our will. That is the gift of free will.
Jesus came to save the sinners, amongst other reasons. The righteous were already His. Just as He gathered many fisherman to His side as apostles, and sent them out to be fishers of men. To find sinners and bring them to the Light. Well, the Devil does the same but opposite, sending his minions to be fishers of souls, to find and attack trying to catch righteous people. Just like with human fisherman, that seek the BIG one, so does he seek the big ones in the Light. The more we grow in GOD's Light the more they will attack us. However, the more we grow in the Light, the more protected we are, when we have the one on one relationship with GOD and ask for His help and protection. Then the harder it is for the Devil to get at us, but he will never stop til his time runs out and it is trust me. So if you are under attack a lot, remember, ask for help and that you gotta a bullseye on your back. Rebuke him and banish him.
Now the one thing I was directed to speak on today was about the passage I read this morning.
It actually ties into what I just spoke about.
Paul advised them saying, "Sirs, I perceive that the voyage will be with injury and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also of our lives." But the centurion paid more attention to the captain and to the owner of the ship than to what Paul said. .......Acts 27:10-11
Clearly here we are being told that our journey through life or lives, will be fraught with much injury and loss, trials; not only of our things, but also of our lives. But do not pay attention to those of this world who are over you, telling you how to live and what you must do and believe, but listen to the Lord, for there is no one who can lighten the ship or the journey, but Him.
One other thing briefly. I was told in a message sometime ago, that all those I love will cross into the Light, have a place in Heaven. This passage relates to this.
Paul being visited by an angel who said; "Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and lo, GOD has granted you all those who sail with you. ....Acts 27:24
GOD Bless!
