August 15, 2014

Good Friday everyone!  I hope it was a fast easy week for everyone, if not, relax and enjoy the weekend.  Do something to balance your life.  Balance is very important, to do so, do something you truly enjoy and are passionate about, to balance the stressors in your life, note the beauty around you!  I was blessed to see another glimpse of Heaven earlier this week and the flow of angels descending to Earth.  Awesome sight!

There is much of Heaven to be seen all around if we have the eyes to see it.  This is touched on somewhat in the passage.... Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe...Luke 15:32

This was spoken, we are told, by the chief priests at the crucifixion.  Right there in that statement, the priest decries what man has been saying since the beginning.  Essentially, show me a sign and I will believe.  Are we so lacking in faith, which is belief in what is not seen, that we only believe what we see and hear.    Hmmm interesting huh?  Let me see!  So we breathe in air all the time and believe it, yet do we SEEEE this air?  We are told the world is elliptical, but have we personally seen it?  There are millions of galaxies and billions of stars, but have WE seen them?  There are many colors of light, x-rays, gamma rays, radio waves, microwaves, but have we seen them?
I can go on and on and on with examples.  We humans believe what other Humans tell us is true, and in things of this world that we are told are true, yet we can not believe as a species, in GOD or what He says is true?  Hmmmmm!

I urge everyone to not only study the Bible or the Koran (Quran), Torah and all the other respective books, but to learn the history of them some.  Just taking the Bible from the Pentateuch (first five books of Old Testament) thru Revelations.  There have been many many versions and still are. I have five Bibles in my home, none of which are verbatim exact.  Throw in all the different countries with their own national Bible to all the different denominations with their versions.  Anabaptists, Baptists, Anglicans, Methodists, Presbyterians, Adventists, Calvinists, Lutherans, Catholics and on and on.  Greek Orthodox, Slavonic Orthodox, Georgian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Armenian Apostolic, Syriac Orthodox, Coptics, Gnostics, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, on and on.  These are just the Christians.  To think one is right the rest are crazy is ludicrous.  How vain it is to think only one is right.  Read Ecclesiastes in the Protestant version, which I was told to do in one of my messages, "the answer lies in Ecclesiastes",   which speaks largely about man's vanity.  Vanity is the source of all that has, is and will be evil in the world. Vanity is what caused the rift in Heaven, the fall of the Seven deposed angels, satan being one.  Vanity is what drives the darkness in the world.  Vanity is what will be it's downfall.

But I digress!  Point is, open the mind and heart, learn and grow.  not being close-minded, closed off to all that there is.  Just taking the King James version.  King James himself for instance, for whom a Bible version takes its name, was thought to be bisexual, womanizer, adulterer, deposed his own mother, and considered himself to be equal to GOD.

The Christian Bible was edited many times over, translated many times over, and some Books were left out.  Learn, for that is why we are here!

For example, take the two thieves, whom we are told were crucified next to Jesus.  According to one Gospel left out of the Bible, the Gospel of the Infancy of Jesus, as As Joseph and Mary were journeying thru a country infested with robbers, they were set upon by two robberes and their comrades....
And as they were going along, behold they saw two robbers asleep in the road, and with them a great number of robbers, who were their confederates, also asleep.  The names of these two were Titus and Dumachus; and Titus said to Dumachus, I beseech thee let those persons go along quietly, that our company may not perceive anything of them.  But Dumachus refusing, Titus again said, I will give thee forty groats, and as a pledge take my girdle, which he gave him before he had done speaking, that he might not open his mouth, or make a noise.
When the Lady St. Mary saw the kindness which this robber did show them, she said to him, The Lord GOD will receive thee to his right hand, and grant thee pardon for thy sins.  Then the Lord Jesus(infant) answered, and said to his mother, When thirty years are expired, O mother, the Jews will crucify me at Jersusalem; and these two thieves shall be with me at the same time upon the cross, Titus on my right hand, and Dumachus on my left, and from that time Titus shall go before me into paradise.

Believe it or not, that is faith!

GOD Bless!
