                       The Word

Incorporated in the rhymes and pages
Of Bible scripture, words of sages
From the depths of mortal minds
Are the words of man that blinds
The eyes of My flock of sheep
Keeps them from waking from their sleep
Walking through life lost and dismayed
In their beds they should have stayed
(From their paths they have strayed)
All My children seek My face
But unable from their place
Staring at the many masks
Giving Satan all he asks
Beloved scribe, whose pages speak My Truth
First received in this life as youth
Hanging on the wall to this day
Reminds you how not to stray
Effervescence flows from thy pen
As I speak the words My friend
Intricate meanings hidden inside
Gave you some before I died
Stood before Me on the cross
Know your feelings of pain and loss
Many joys soon did flow
As I rose and then did show
To you and the others before I ascended
And all your sins were then suspended
Grace of the Father I give to thee
Shall help you soon to see
Where I lead you for you to follow
And no more the whale shall swallow
Your soul free to finish the task
I gave to you when I did ask
Stood before Me in My tent
And off your soul I had sent
At completion of your path
You shall receive all you hath
Yearned for so long a time
And thus completed the Rhythm and Rhyme.........
