From Acts, 2-5....

Those who...were going up...He was...about to...give them...His attention
Then you....in the name of Jesus Christ...saw Him...recognized Him...at the Gate...filled with wonder...amazement
Peter and John....you...asked...are you witnesses to this?
You see...all you see
You sins wiped out
Refreshing comes from the Lord
Heaven receives him...among you...who listens...to Him
You are heirs...of the covenant of GOD
The Resurrection...was there...and began...how He was healed...and all the people...by the name of Jesus Christ
Salvation is found...
Courage
Confer together...spreading...this name
Speak...teach...you be the judges
Decide how to punish them...praising GOD...raise voices in prayer
The rulers band together...beforehand...with great boldness...
The place where they were meeting....claimed their possessions...no needy person among them
Satan so filled their hearts...kept money...didn't belong to them
Members filled with jealousy...(United Nations which just met?)

From Amos, 1....

A fountain will flow out of the Lord's house...but Egypt will be desolate...because of violence done to the people...(End of Joel)

The kingdom of Israel...confident in their nation....worship their heritage.
Overconfident nationalism...military might...are taking advantage of poor
GOD is calling to repentance...
The vision he saw...before the earthquake...is what the Lord says...
I will send fire...and destroy...the valley...the people will go into exile...(Las Vegas?)..for sins....
I will consume...turn My hand against...for sins
I will not relent...I will send fire...in order to....consume...her officials...


GOD is so infinitely large yet can dwell within each of us.  He shares a piece of Himself in us so that we can exist.  Have you ever thanked Him for that?  The Holy Spirit, whom the Lord sent to us, to us people, is here to help us always.  It is through this Spirit, the Spirit of GOD who Jesus aids us in all things, gives us all things.  It is very easy to want to walk the path alone, especially being raised to be independent from the beginning of life.  Yet this is very dangerous as well.  We are not made to go it alone.  We are made to ask His help to walk with Him on our paths through life. 

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever----the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you....John 14:16-17

Happiness is not found in things or attainments.  Some of the most miserable and lost people are those at the so called top.  They pursue all things and reach the top and have nothing but emptiness, so they try and fill it with more stuff and drugs, booze, sex, buying for consuming more yet never satisfied.  Make GOD, our Lord and Savior, the focus of life and in Him through Him  by Him you will find happiness, peace and joy like you have never known.  I have gotten rid of all my things and have peace and calm like never before.  Thank you Jesus!

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in GOD my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to go on the heights......Habakkuk 3:17-19
