Ok doing this one day early as I go out of town for long weekend tomorrow.  I will try and post one or two days while gone, but can not promise.

Today again to Jeremiah I was directed.

Yea, upon every high hill and under every green tree you bowed down as a harlot.   Yet I planted you a choice vine, wholly of pure seed.  How then have you turned degenerate and become a wild vine?  Though you wash yourself with lye and use much soap, the stain of your guilt is still before Me, says the Lord GOD...Jeremiah 2:20-22

For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face.  But in the time of their trouble they say, "arise and save us!"  But where are your gods that you made yourself?  Let them arise, if they can save you, in your time of trouble...Jeremiah 2:27-28

To me the words are plainly speaking of us having turned from Him yet crying to Him to help us and save us when something bad happens.  His reply to us is go ask your gods, i.e. the things we worship in life, power, possession, wealth, idols; let them help us out..  Again He is not a GOD of convenience.

Return, faithless Israel, says the Lord,  I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful, says the Lord; I will not be angry forever.  Only acknowledge your guilt, that you rebelled against the Lord your GOD and scattered your favors among strangers under every green tree, and that you have not obeyed my voice, says the Lord; Return, O faithless children, says the Lord; for I am your master; I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion...Jeremiah 3:12-14

Telling us even after everything, He will show us mercy if we acknowledge our mistakes and seek forgiveness. But that He will only take certain of His children, a portion of the harvest.

And I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding....Jeremiah 3:15
People like Sarah Young, myself and many many others around the world who are given the Word to share.  True messengers who want nothing but to share His Word for free.

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of GOD without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe....Philippians 2:14-15

You have been on a long uphill journey, and your energy is almost spent.  Though you have faltered at times, you have not let go of My hand.  I am pleased with your desire to stay close to Me.  There is one thing, however, that displeases Me:  your tendency to complain.  You may talk to Me as much as you like about the difficulty of the path we are following.  I understand better than anyone else the stresses and strains that have afflicted you.  You can ventilate safely to Me, because talking with Me tempers your thoughts and helps you see things from My perspective.
Complaining to others is another matter altogether.  It opens the door to deadly sins such as self-pity and rage.  Whenever you are tempted to grumble, come to Me and talk it out.  As you open up to Me, I will put thoughts in your mind and My song in your heart.
