Good Saturday to everyone.  Another gorgeous day here, hope it is with you as well!  Today opened up to Proverbs, a very rare occurrence, to Proverb1 and 2.  I will not show entirety here, but urge you to read them as you can.

Proverb 1.


The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and knowledge....Prov 1:7

That men may know wisdom and instruction, understand words of insight, receive instruction in wise dealing, righteousness, justice, and equity; that prudence may be given to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth---the wise man also may hear and increase in learning, and the man of understanding acquire skill, to understand a proverb and a figure, the words of the wise and their riddles..1:.2-6

We should be praying for all things especially to lean and grow in the Light, to understand all that He is.  Ask for His wisdom and for understanding of all He tells us.  Give thanks for all that He does and gives for us.

Hear, my son, your father's instruction, and reject not your mother's teaching...1:8

Children should listen to the wisdom and knowledge of their parents and you parents, teachhhh them, and do so wisely.  For give thought and ask yourselves just how much we really teach our kids.  How much do we pass off to others, school, peers, tv, internet.  We make them susceptible to the darkness. 
Feed them to the wolves.  We are born as sponges, absorbing knowledge from prenatal through life.  Especially as children.  Let the sponges be filled with good water, the water of life, not bad water. 
Teach them things that will help them in life, things about daily responsibilities, relationships, intimacy, love, how to be happy and GOD!  That is the primary responsibility of a parent, GOD gives them to us to teach before they go out into the world.

My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent...1:10

If they say...We shall find all precious goods, we shall fill our houses with spoil; throw you lot in among us, we will all have one purse.  My son, do not walk in the way with them, hold back your foot from their paths; for their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood.  For in vain is a net spread in the sight of any bird; but these men lie in wait for their own blood, they set an ambush for their own lives.  Such are the ways of all who get gain by violence; it takes away the life of its possessors....1:13-19

Do not let others tempt you or pressure you onto a dark path, learn to see the rd flags and run the other way.

How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple?  How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge?  Give heed to My reproof; behold, I will pour out My thoughts to you; I will make My Words known to you....1:22-23

He is asking us plainly, how long are we gonna ignore Him.  Listen to Him, talk to Him and He will teach you.

Because I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out My hand and no one has heeded, and you have ignored all My counsel and would have none of My reproof, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when panic strikes you, when panic strikes you like a storm, and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.  Then they will call upon Me, but I will not answer; they will seek Me diligently but will not find Me...1:24-28

This is the Peter and the Wolf story right there.  He is not a GOD of convenience, a GOD of  only good times, but a GOD of all times.  Talk to Him all the time, in good and bad.  Give thanks to Him and praise Him always.  Make it a habit and with sincerity.  Don't be a Sunday go to meeting worshiper.  Don't give Him lip service.  He knows all things we say, feel, do, think. 
Think how we would feel if our kids only came to us in bad times wanting something.

Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord, would have none of My counsel, and despised all My reproof, therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way and be sated with their own devices.  For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacence of fools destroys them; but he who listens to Me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of evil...
1:29-33

Proverb 2...

My son, if you receive My words and treasure up My commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you cry out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord and the knowledge of GOD....2:1-5

Here He is telling us plainly to seek and you shall receive, but not the silver and treasures of life but Him, the wisdom and knowledge, this is what ye will receive.  He says if we seek this as hard as we seek riches and treasures of life then we will receive His treasure.  
Now when He tells us about fear, He is talking fear in the way of respect, trust, faith in Him and His power and might, for He can and will do anything.

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding paths of justice and equity, every good path; for wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; discretion will watch over you; understanding will guard you; delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech, who forsake the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness, who rejoice in doing evil; men whose paths are crooked, and who are devious in their ways.
2:6-15
He is telling us again quite plainly... He will teach us and what He teaches us will shield us against darkness. The wisdom and knowledge will come into our hearts and souls.  I can attest to this in my life.  He also will teach in a perfect way in a perfect pace for each of us as our own private perfect tutor.  Not giving us more than we can understand at that time.  Pray for the wisdom and knowledge and understanding, but not more than you can handle now, for vanity can seep into you otherwise.
Stay clear of those with perverted speech, i.e. those who teach falsehoods and twisted truths.

For the upright will inherit the land, and men of integrity will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the treacherous will be rooted out of it...2:21-22

And I pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever---the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you will know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you...John 16:7


I am the Creator of Heaven and Earth:  Lord of all that is and all that will ever be.  Although I am unimaginably vast, I choose to dwell within you, permeating you with My Presence.  Only in the spirit realm could someone so infinitely great live within someone so very small.  Be awed by the Power and the Glory of My Spirit within you! 
Though the Holy Spirit is infinite, He deigns to be your Helper.  He is always ready to offer assistance; all you need to do is ask.  When the path before you looks easy and straightforward, you may be tempted to go it alone instead of relying on Me.  This is when you are in the greatest danger of stumbling.  Ask My Spirit to help you as you go each step of the way.  Never neglect this glorious source of strength within you.
