Good day to all, hope you are well!  Today's Bible pages are in Hebrews.

But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry which is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant He mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.  For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion for a second.        Hebrews 8:6-7

Here we are being told that GOD renegotiated, updated His covenant, His contract with mankind.
He acknowledged that the first covenant, the ten commandments, was imperfect for us and therefore amended it.  Not wiped it out, but updated.

The days will come says the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah; not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; for they did not continue in My covenant, and so I paid no heed to them, says the Lord.....Hebrews 8:8-9

He had turned away from them, had it up to here basically with us lol and decided to renew His contract with us.

This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord:  I will put My laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their GOD, and they shall be My people.  Hebrews 8:10

He is on our hearts, within us, His true church.

And they shall not teach every one his fellow or every one his brother, saying, Know the Lord, For all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest....Hebrews 8:11

They shall not teach others about Me but all shall know me for He is in each of us.  Plainly telling us, no one is to teach others about Him, for He is in us and we are to learn Him from Him...

For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more....Hebrews..8:12

He forgives our sins and forget them,,, for those who believe in Him and love Him, making Him number one priority.

In speaking of a new covenant He treats the first as obsolete.  And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away...Hebrews 8:13

The old ways shall vanish and only the new covenant shall remain after he returns and the world is cleansed and all that remains is as it was intended at the start.

In those old testament, old covenant times, the Holy Of Holies, the inner tent, where only the High Priest was allowed to go and to offer blood sacrifices to, was the place they said that GOD dwelt on earth.  Then Solomon built Him a temple for Him to dwell in.  But then He said, do you think I need a building to dwell in.  What can you give Me that I need?  So He sent His Son.

But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) He entered once for all into the Holy Place, taking not the blood of goats and calves but His own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.  For if the sprinkling of defiled persons with the blood of goats and bulls and with the ashes of a heifer sanctifies for the purification of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to GOD, purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living GOD....Hebrews 9:11-14

Telling us that the sacrifice was made for us, we do not need to make it for the church or anyone else.  The church is inside us all.  Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice and took the sins of the world upon himself.

For Christ has entered, not into a sanctuary made with hands, a copy of the true one, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of GOD on our behalf.   Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters the Holy Place yearly with blood not of His own; for then He would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world.  But as it is, He has appeared once for all at the end of the age to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.  And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him...
Hebrews 9:24-28

Christ in one moment wiped out all sin and made himself the true church.  No offering, no sacrifice is needed to any other but Him.  Believe in Him and wait in all fith for when he comes again which is very very soon.

For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices which are continually offered year after year, make perfect those who draw near....Hebrews 10:1

Here plainly telling us that continually offering sacrifices to this world year after year, week after week, day after day, DOES NOT make us perfect.  Offer it to Him directly, for He is perfection and purity, not another human being.

And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.  But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of GOD, then to wait until His enemies should be made a stool for His feet.....Hebrews 10:11-13

No human can take away your sins, Christ took them away and will keep taking them away directly.

For by a single offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified....Hebrews 10:14

His sacrifice has made perfect always those whom believe in Him!

Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.....Hebrews 10:18

Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and joy in Hi dwelling place....1 Chronicles 16:2

Remember that joy is not dependent on your circumstances.  Some of the world's most miserable people are those whose circumstances seem the most enviable.  People who reach the top of the ladder career-wise are often surprised to find emptiness awaiting them.  True joy is a by-product of living in My Presence.  Therefore you can experience it in palaces, in prisons... anywhere.
Do not judge a day as devoid of joy just because it contains difficulties.  Instead, concentrate on staying in communication with Me.  Many of the problems that clamor for your attention will resolve themselves.  Other matters you must deal with, but I will help you with them.  If you make problem-solving secondary to the goal of living close to Me, you can find joy even in your most difficult days.

GOD Bless!
