Be a Jesus conduit!  Let go all the barriers, internal and external, so that His grace and peace and love can flow through you to others.

Traditions have sometimes involved variants that have not been indicated in text.   Many sources contribute to the Bible as we view it today.  Samaritan Pentateuch, Greek Septuagint, Aquila, Symmachus, Theodotion, Latin Vulgate, Syriac Peshitta, Aramaic Targums, Juxta Hebraica of Jerome, Dead Sea Scrolls and verbal traditions.  Textual witnesses in rare cases.

Hebrew became corrupted at an earlier stage of translation.  Vowels and consonants of today’s translations do not match up with originals.  Each edition is the result of the respective publisher’s interpretations. 

The New Testament authors wrote in Greek, quoting Old Testament from ancient Greek which had translated from ancient Hebrew.  Bible translation is ever-changing as modern languages are ever-changing.  In the last 50 years alone there have been numerous words added to the English vocabulary and older words have gained new additional meanings. 

A good example is the shifting away from the use of man, him, his and he to they, them and theirs, taking into account the shift from the male dominated cultures to the equality of the sexes. This simple example is over such a brief period of time, think how much pf a change over thousands of years and multiple translations.

However, the Spirit of the Word is unchanged and can never be effected by anything of this world.  This is why it is so very important to see and hear with spiritual eyes and ears and open heart so to understand the true meaning of the Words of GOD.

We get tempted to complain to the Lord about how He treats us at times.  This is dangerous for it can lead to self-pity and anger.  Two snares of the Devil.   Giving thanks for all things even the bad, is a good way to fight off this temptation.  Thankfulness awkens us, opens us up to the flow of His grace and presence.

Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again:  Rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all.  The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to GOD…..Philippians 4:4-6

Be a Jesus conduit!  Let Him destroy the walls, dams, barriers, both internal and external, that block the flow of His Light through you.  This will wash away all the pollutants and toxins of spirit and emotion that diminish the spirit.  Invite His presence to fill in the void left by the departing darkness.  Bring attention and focus back to Him.  Do not expect or try to be perfect for only He is perfect.

Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your GOD goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you….Deuteronomy 31:6

GOD BLESS!  PRAISE JESUS CHRIST!  GOD IS AWESOME!
