Today’s Bible message comes to us from Proverbs, chapters 15-17…..These ones from Proverbs usually have the cadence of Proverbs.  For those of countries not real familiar with English, cadence refers to the pace or rhythm of the lines. 

The Lord detests the wicked….loves righteousness

Discipline awaits who leaves the path

The Spirit…seeks knowledge…..the heart…love

One who is patient….the path is upright…brings joy to the Father

One who has no understanding…fails…for lack of joy

The path of life leads upward….to the house of the Lord

His sight…lives in the heart of the righteous…answers…the prayer

A messenger brings joy….good news…among the wise

Those who disregard….are to fear the Lord

The plans of the Lord….pure

Commit to the Lord…to the end

Day of disaster….the Lord establishes…balances the weights….

One who speaks what is right….is a messenger….get insight rather than silver

Avoid evil….pride….a haughty spirit…

Share…with whoever heeds instruction

Trust in the Lord….in heart….discerning…words

Folly brings punishment

There is a way that appears to be right but in the end leads to death   (ask for discernment in all things to tell the difference between GOD and devil)

A scoundrel plots evil…stirs up conflict…separates friends…entices neighbor…leads down a path that is not good

The way of righteousness…patient….with self-control…every decision is from the Lord

Peace and quiet will share the inheritance

The crucible tests the heart…pay attention……(crucible is life)

Whoever mocks the poor shows contempt for their Maker…and will not go unpunished….they think success will come at every turn….

Love covers an offense

Rebuke a fool…A messenger of death will be sent against them

Evil will never leave the house of one who pays back evil for good…(vengeance is mine saith the Lord)

Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out

Fools love money at all times

A friend loves at all times     (learned who I know who does not fit this a lot since I retired wow)

Whoever loves a quarrel loves sin

Spend time with the Lord and absorb His Light and be filled with His strength.  When we communicate with Him we should hand over our burdens to Him who can transform them to something good.  Learn to view things from His perspective not yours or human.  The gift of time with Him is to unravel the knots of chaos and strife in our days.  The devil tries to draw us away from doing this in various ways , such as, laziness, distractions of noise, people, jobs, family, friends, self-anxiety, worry etc etc.  As you spend more time with Him you grow in His strength and can better resist these distractions, recognizing them for what they are and rebuking the devil in the name and blood of Jesus Christ.

Delight yourself in the lord and He will give you the desires of your heart….Psalm 37:4   (true spiritual desires within us)

--Margaret O’Donnell….28…d. 1902…..(Did I know you?  [I was sensing this])….yes, two lives ago….met on train to Los Angeles from New York….train accident…..(we did not know each other very long?)….no, for days….We connected right away…you spoke of many things that touched my soul.  I was born in Ireland, County Claire….came to America at age 8 with Ma and Da.  I wanted to go west at young age but they would not let me.  I got into acting with early movie makers and saw the chance to finally go west when movies were being made there.  I didn’t make it..HaHa!........(what kept you from crossing?)…I lost sight of you, don’t think you were killed…was guilty about leaving parents….Thought this was what happened after we died…Voices telling me, “stay here, we will help you.”…..But they never did, I just kept moving about watching people alive….Saw my parents die but could not reach them…they went quickly past here…..(they went to the Light)…I guess….

*spoke awhile with her about what is needed to complete her journey.

(what was my name Margaret?)  ……David Ashton..35…NY..divorced……(thank you)….I liked you a lot, wink!.....You have the same smile now….

*after a short time she was ready to go and successfully crossed over.
