From the valley of fire you fled long ago
Leaving behind all you did know
Eternal flame of the Father did burn
Sent you out many times to relearn
All that was forgotten in ancient times
Via all the words in the rhymes
Poet you've been, amidst the others
Born many times, many mothers
Through the ages you've been sent
Helping others, their knees to be bent
Savior of souls in your earthly lives
Fathers, brothers, children, wives
Sisters, mothers, all those
Who you've met, given heavenly repose
Touched the hearts, heard what they needed
Open ears to what long had went unheeded
Discover again what was lost
Long ago at so high a cost
Take to heart these words you do pen
Focus on task so that you'll know when
The Lord return to guide you home
Bask again in heavenly loam
Tell all you see of what we share
The glory and joy beyond compare
Tychicus told the tale once before
Cut the lies to very core
Open the door to the truths within
Hearts of men, all that has been
Where you go, what you do
Things will be revealed unto you
Trust in GOD, Father Almighty
Jesus Christ, the Son, take not at all lightly
Savior of man approaches as we speak
Give strength to those whose hearts are weak
Days of the Father's glory unfold
Be thee not humble, be thee bold
In spreading the seeds of faith upon the land
Guided always by His loving hand
Harvesters gather the crop as you go
Winds of change begin to blow
Telling tale of what's to come
When all shall no longer be deaf, blind and dumb!

(Tychicus- had no idea who this was, had to research.  He was a follower of Paul, who accompanied him at times and at other times acted as a courier.  I read where he was sent to Timothy by Paul.  Also read that he died a martyr's death.)

A prayer

Dear Lord bless (cleanse) the hearts of all mankind
Give sight unto all those blind
Release the spark burns ever bright
Driving away darkness and night
Set free those in eternal bondage
Who cry out for mercy across all ages
All those who kneel down before you
Knowing nothing is hidden from your view
Teacher of wisdom guide unto me
All that is needed to set men free
Words of healing to lift up the spirit
Open their ears so that they will hear it
Diviner of souls, who knows all hearts
Reveal unto them so that they know their parts
All must play in the coming tide
Where nowhere will darkness be able to hide
Touch the souls, ignite the spark
That for too long has been in the dark
Empower me with thy heavenly touch
To heal the hearts, hidden by so much
Pain and sorrow, anger and fear
Releasing the shadow and the tear
Brightness shall flow, little child within
And all shall return as they had been!

There I stood above a mountain pass
Amongst the many shades of grass
Wind blowing through my hair
Confessing my sins, my soul laid bare
Infinite wisdom tis what I sought
For I felt my soul had been bought
Many sins I had committed
All to Him I now admitted
Take me from this sinful heart
Guide me now to do my part
Share with me thy cosmic plan
Of all that comes to my fellow man
Despair lifted from furrowed brow

No more worry, focus on the now
Keep to the path laid out each day
Trust in me to show the way
Truest friend there is not
Yes tis right, your soul was bought
Lord's scribe you've always been
He knows all that lies within
Your heart from Him was once given
Knowing all you'll do, spiritually driven
Take to heart the words we share
And unto you shall be given, beyond compare
Go forth now, continue to sow
The seeds we give, watch them grow
Worry not those who seem not to see
You are helping the souls to be set free
Look back not on where you've been
Trust in GOD, that you shall win!
