Resplendent with thoughts of earthly things
All the slavery that it brings
Dumbfounded when the line was crossed
When you became oh so lost
No more freedom to come and go
The more you seek, the less you know
Constant companion all that you own
What once was you, seems to have flown
Did you think that happiness lay
Down that path, joy held at bay
No more light, no more peace
No more chance to feel the fleece
When were you going to give
All you gather as you live
Many more have come and gone
Meaningless beings, senseless pawn
Deceiver of night gathers the lost
Loving their lives at so high a cost
Do you think to buy your way?
When the Lord comes on final day
All you need, you can not buy
Choose to live, choose to die
Born to save and show the way
Taught us all how we need pray
Were you not there by my side?
Did you not run and hide?
Forgiven long ago, such folly
When I took that fateful volley
I am with you til the end
Always was and will be your friend
Focus brother for what lies ahead
Follow us where you're led
Fear not the trivial things
Trust in Him for all He brings
Peace and joy eternal love
Showered down from Heaven above
Much to come, we are all here
Never far from inner ear
Read the words, hear their meaning
Growing stronger as your gleaning
Pure of heart coming soon
Look for time of blood red moon

When you feel her presence near.
