Today I will touch upon the Bible pages I read today and yesterday. It was Nevada Day here in Nevada yesterday, so I was not able to blog.
First pages are from Thessalonians first letter.
Just one thing to mention here.. To lead a life worthy of GOD, who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. And we also thank GOD constantly for this, that when you received the Word of GOD which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the Word of GOD, which is at work in you believers....1 Thessalonians 2:12-13
This refers to the Bible deep meaning and to the messages I share here. Along with messages others around the world have received.
The second topics are from the Letter of Peter.
The end of all things is at hand; therefore keep sane and sober for your prayers. Above all hold unfailing your love for one another, since love covers a multitude of sins. Practice hospitality ungrudgingly to one another. As each has received a gift, employ it for one another, as good stewards of GOD's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who utters oracles of GOD; whoever renders service, as one who renders it by the strength which GOD supplies; in order that in everything GOD may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To Him belong all glory and dominion for ever and ever amen....1 Peter 4:7-11
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal which comes upon you to prove you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice in so far as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when His glory is revealed. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the spirit of glory and of GOD rests upon you. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or a wrongdoer, or a mischief-maker; yet if one suffers as a Christian,
let him not be ashamed, but under that name let him glorify GOD. For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of GOD; and if it begins with us, what will be the end of those who do not obey the Gospel of GOD? And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, where will the impious and sinner appear? Therefore let those who suffer according to GOD's will do right and entrust their souls to a faithful Creator.....1 Peter 4:12-19
To the elders and leaders, spiritual leaders...... Tend the flock of GOD that is your charge, not by constraint but willingly, not for shameful gain but eagerly, not as domineering over those in your charge but being examples to the flock....1 Peter 5:2-3
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of GOD, that in due time He may exalt you. Cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares about you. Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experience of suffering is required of your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the GOD of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, and strengthen you....1 Peter 5:6-10
Make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these things are yours and abound, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For whoever lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be the more zealous to confirm your call and election, for if you do this you will never fail; so there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.....2 Peter 5-11
First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, because no prophecy ever came by the impulse of man, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from GOD.....2 Peter 1:20
This speaks of the Truth! As I have said many times, we all perceive GOD differently, yet there is only one Truth. We must continue to strive to learn and grow towards that one Truth, that one understanding. Until that time we will all perceive Him differently, as being human we are all different. But there is only one true GOD and one Truth. For now you each have your own interpretations and perceptions. But strive to grow in the Light towards the one Truth that is GOD.
Never be satisfied and content in what you now know, for it is incomplete. Remember, we are in school and always more to learn, so that our truths, our realities are a dynamic. Constantly, or should be constantly, changing and growing, moving towards that one Truth that is GOD. If it is not, then it is certainly time that each of us did.
But false prophets also rose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow licentiousness, and because of them the way of truth will be reviled. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words; from of old their condemnation has not been idle, and their destruction has not been asleep....2 Peter 2:1-3
Do not lose heart when you find it difficult to stay focused on Him. I know this feeling well, for I have trouble at times as well. He knows that your desire to be with Him and focus on Him is in your heart. So do not let feelings of failure get you down. See yourself as He sees you. He is pleased in your desire to be with Him and focus on Him. Each time you talk to Him it pleases Him greatly.
I sees the progress we make.
When you become aware that your focus has wandered, do not be troubled. The world was built to distract us. Each time we muddle through the distractions to talk to Him, we achieve a victory.
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of GOD, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need....Hebrews 4:14-16
GOD Bless!
