Today's hidden Bible message comes to us from Psalms 48-52....

Like ships...on the east wind...the Lord Almighty's...right hand...because of your judgments...hear this all you peoples...both low and high...the meditation of My heart...I will expound...My riddle..
Wicked deceivers...ransom life...that the foolish...loving their wealth...will remain in their houses...
Though they had...the fate of those...who trusted in them...their followers...death will be their shepherd...
When the splendor...will not descend...to them...while they live....like the beasts...the Mighty One...the Lord...perfect in beauty...will be silent to them...
Gather to Me...I AM GOD...your sacrifices...from your...forest are mine...
Thank offerings...
My instructions....you thought...set My accusations...to the blameless...but...I know....what is evil...
Justify when you judge...for surely...you desire faithfulness...wisdom...in that secret place...
Cleanse...your face...your holy spirit...and deliver Me...righteousness with open lips...
You do not...offer...burnt offerings...anymore...
You who practice deceit...your tongue plots..falsehood...you love...deceitful tongue..I will snatch you up...from the land...who did not make GOD his stronghold...

When hardships befall us it is easy to let them drag us down which is what the devil wants.  We turn inwards and withdraw.  Instead, we need turn outward to Him and He will lift us up out of the chasm we are sliding into.  The longer we let ourselves slide the harder and longer it will take to be pulled up and out.  Its ok to be independent but do not be so of GOD.  He wants us to be needy with Him.  You will learn that those hardships were for a reason. 

The eternal GOD is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.  He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, "Destroy him!"....Deuteronomy 33:27

I am still confident of this:  I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for the lord, be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord...Psalm 27:13-14
