Today's Bible message comes to us from 2 Kings 5-8....

He asked....please give them...into the house....My flocks..
No man will...become as white as....the prophets...for they went...into the water...where it did fall...then....set up my Tent...on the place indicated by GOD...and demanded of them...
The King of Israel...struck them..and their eyes were opened...then the Lord...answered them....
His entire army...lays siege...will help you...from the winepress...
You heard the woman's words...are sending someone...of the finest flour...of the city gate...
One other...left the camp....entered another tent...and we are keeping to ourselves...
Then we will take...they who have left camp...to find out what happened...
They selected...the people who went out...as the men of GOD...at the gate of Samaria...
The Lord...is exactly...in the land...that will last seven years...
The Lord has decreed...seven years...in the land

*Think spiritual to understand that....

He did not design our minds to know the future.  Focusing on the future, which is His domain, is a form of unbelief.  He wants us to leave the future to Him and trust in Him not in our own plans. 

In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps....Proverbs 16:9

Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass....Psalm 37:5

Humble yourselves, therefore, under GOD's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in DUE time.  Cast your anxiety on Him because He cares for you....1 Peter 5:6-7

Free will is a precious gift He gave us but it comes with a heavy responsibility.  Our life path is one continuous series of choice points.  This can become an overwhelming thing.  That is why it is so very important to stay in communication with Him.  We were not meant to go it alone.  In this world of increasing chaos, it is ever more important to do so with a humble and grateful heart.  Lean on Him.....

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well....Matthew 6:33

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.  It is the Lord Christ you are serving....Colossians 3:23-24
