Blessings to all this day and continued prayers for all those lost and affected by the hurricane and flooding here in the USA and for all those lost and affected by the Typhoon and flooding in Asia.  May GOD bless those lost and comfort those still here. 

Today's Bible message comes to us from Proverbs 15-17...

The mouth....with turmoil...fears the Lord...
The sluggard..patient, calms....the upright...
Joy to His Father...His Mother...who has...given...down to the realm of the dead...
The thoughts...bring ruin...of the wicked...
The righteous...weigh their answers...
Disregard...the one who...comes before honor...(Proud and vain?)
Faithfulness in sin...gains...the Lord...
Honest scales...are of His making...
The one who speaks...they value...the wise...
When a king's...favor is like rain...haughty spirit...plunders with the proud...
Laborers work.........A perverse person...purses their lips...with self-control..but every decision is....disgraceful...
A servant....will share the inheritance...the Lord tests the heart...
Eloquent lips...much worse...than lying lips...for seen as charm...by friends...
A rebuke...of a fool...who is starting a quarrel...drops the matter...
Acquitting...innocent...should...buy wisdom...
Adversity...of one who pledges...security for a neighbor...builds a high...prospering...over one whose tongue is perverse...

Ever wonder why some of us can handle adversity better than others?  Well first of all we are all made up differently genetically, but also spiritually and our experiences are different.  Fragility is not a weakness or a punishment.  Those of you who are weaker than others in any way have no choice but to live by faith.  Trust in the Lord for the reason why, ask Him for understanding of the reason why, ask for strength, give thanks in the bad times as well as the good, and praise GOD always for His infinite wisdom.  For He sees not as we see, He knows not as w know, he understands not as we understand.  We seek to live a well planned, mapped out life and when things do not work out the way WE wanted then we easily fall apart and turn from GOD.  How about you seek what HE wants instead each day.  Then wait and see what He can do!

You who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money."  Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow.  What is your life?  You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.  Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this and that."  James 4:13-15

That is how I live my life and I am happy, content, healthy and wise.  Do I have all that I want?  Not at all!  Do I have all that I need?  Hell yes!  No chaos, no stress!

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength...Isaiah 40:31

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding...Proverbs 3:5
