If you seek to know the Lord
Then open yourself up to hear the Word
Too many of you cannot hear
The voice of My messenger in your ear
Prayers to Me are all heard
Yet your eyes are all blurred
Unable to see the answer
Hearts closed off unable to enter
What you ask, not always granted
The darkness within must be supplanted
Burdens you all carry block the Light
That flows from Me through the night
Walls you all made along the path
Keep you from knowing all you hath
Been given for your long journey
Spend time with Me and bend your knee
Do you think I have not your best interest at heart?
Do you think I wish you to be apart
From the glorious love the Father has for you?
Then why do you say and do what you do?
Independence is a good thing
But apart from me only hardship does it bring
Let go control, take a leap of faith
I shall protect you from the silent wraith
Hills and valleys you will have each day
Take but My hand and I'll show you the way
Through and around the many obstructions
You just need to heed My instructions
You were never made to go it alone
By My side you will be shown
Those who seek to drag you down
Wearing their face of a clown
Liars, deceivers, have no Light
Seek to hold you in the night
Clutching and grabbing, they hold you in place
Keep you from beholding My face
Turn from them now as time runs out
Grow in the Light, what it's all about
Then fulfill your purpose you shall
And thence be free of belly of whale
Children of mine do no harm
Show the love, O'heavenly charm.
