February 3, 2016

Good day to all and GOD bless!  I pray all are doing well this day and staying warm.  No rhyme message to share today just the Bible ones.  Hope they have meaning for you all.

From Hosea, chapter 14....

Return to the Lord your GOD....say to Him, "receive us graciously"...."save us"...."find compassion"
"heal"...answer Him!

From Joel, chapter 1.....

The exact date is difficult to know....the specific occasion however is very clear...
Everything in sight....disaster...an invading army....has come...
Prayer..contrition...will drive away...
His Spirit...on the survivors

Hear this...all who live in the land...have eaten...
The new wine has been snatched from your lips
Grieve for the youth...cut off from the house of the Lord....(new generations furthest from the Lord now)...because the harvest....is dried up
The fig tree withered
The people's joy withered away
All you who minister before the altar....are withheld from the house of GOD...have been cut off.....for
The Lord is near......before our very eyes
The herds mills about...the flocks are suffering....I call in the wilderness.....

From 2 Kings, chapters 8-10.....

At the end....the land of the Philistines (Israel and Lebanon).....the servant of GOD...had restored the dead to life....brought back to life to appeal...
Everything that belonged...left the country....
The man of GOD....a gift with you....said, "go meet GOD"
Consult the Lord...accomplish what the Lord has shown
The Lord promised to maintain a lamp
His army...has been in Judah...in the city of David
I will avenge the blood of My servants the prophets and the blood of all the Lord's servants
The Word of the Lord!!!

Fix your eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen.  For what is seen  is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal...2 Corinthians 4:18

Each day is a gift of time given to us.  Be thankful for it!  Focus on this gift and not on the future for why would you seek to open another gift not yet given when you have not finished opening the one you have before you?

Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.  Matthew 12:33
For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.  A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.....Matthew 12:35

I think all of you who hear the Word of GOD are good trees with good roots and good branches bearing good fruit, yet there are bad branches bearing bad fruit in amongst the good ones.  Ask the Lord to prune you, to trim the bad branches bearing bad fruit from you and for the good branches to spread their smaller branches to fill in the empty gaps.
In other words,  ask the Lord to remove the evil and ugliness within you and around you and to then fill in the void left with goodness and grace.

Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect....James 3:2
Only GOD is perfect so our tongues and mouths can never be perfect.

No human being can tame the tongue.....James 3:8

Does this mean do not try?  Noooo!  We should always be in a forward motion trying to improve ourselves towards the likeness of GOD.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD.  He was with GOD in the beginning.  Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.  In Him was life, and that life was the Light of all mankind.  The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it...John 1:1-5

The Word is GOD, Jesus is GOD, Jesus is the Word.  He was with GOD in the beginning, Jesus was here in the beginning.  Through Him all things were made and life was in Him, therefore He was sent to be the life.  Through that life to be the light of mankind.  He defeated darkness by shining into it for where there is Light darkness can not be.  It can not overcome it neither in the Spirit or in the physical.  Turn on a light in the dark and what happens to the dark?  It is gone like that!!!!

GOD BLESS!  GOD IS AWESOME!  PRAISE JESUS CHRIST!
