April 28, 2015

Good Tuesday and GOD Bless to all today, a gorgeous warm day in the Las Vegas valley.   I hope all are well where you are!

Messages to share from Romans 3 and 4 and from 1 Chronicles again.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to GOD.  Therefore no one will be declared righteous in GOD's sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin...........But now, apart from the law the righteousness of GOD has been made known............This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.  There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD, and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Jesus Christ.  GOD presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of His blood--to be received by faith.  He did this to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished--He did it to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.........a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law..............Abraham believed GOD, and it was credited to him as righteousness......faith is credited as righteousness..............righteousness that comes by faith...........the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring---not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham.............GOD will credit righteousness--for us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.  He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.......Therefore, since we have been justified through faith,  we have peace with GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand....we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; character, hope.  And hope does not put us to shame, because GOD's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us..............Christ died for the ungodly.....
while we were still sinners, Christ died for us..........For if, while we were GOD's enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!  No only is this so, but we also boast in GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.......Sin entered the world through one man(Adam), and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned........
For if the many died by the trespass of the one man(Adam), how much more did GOD's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!........The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation(death), but the gift followed many trespasses(of mankind) and brought justification...............by the trespasses of the one man(Adam), death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive GOD's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!.........The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase.  But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord....Shall we go on sinning so that grace might increase?  By no means!  We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?  Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?  We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life............For if we have been united with Him in a death like His,  we will certainly also be united with Him in a resurrection like His.  For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin--because anyone who has died has been set free from sin....The death He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life He lives, He lives to GOD.................do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.  Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to GOD as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to Him as an instrument of righteousness.  For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.......You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.....................Romans 3-4

*The law made us aware of and bound to sin.  Then GOD, thru Abraham, gave us righteousness and then thru Jesus, faith.  He remembered our sins no more and thru the sacrifice of Jesus, defeated death, freed us from the slavery of sin, gave us a pathway to Heaven, faith in Him and a choice.
He lets us fall down at times just so He can lift us and raise us up to show His power and His glory, as He did with His own Son.

Now, My son, the Lord be with you...........May the Lord give you discretion and understanding...........do not be afraid or discouraged.......devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your GOD(seek and you shall find).  Begin to build the sanctuary of the Lord GOD (the church, true church, within your own heart)............1 Chronicles 22

Life can drain us of our strength, but look to the Lord for sustenance and for strength.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint....Isaiah 40:29-31

Each day we are bombarded with choices.  At times they can be overwhelming.  Make them one at a time for that is the path of life.  A straight line is made up of a continuous series of points.  Each point is a choice.  So your life is one continuous series or line made up of choices.  Every moment a choice.
Do not try and plan out a detailed map of the choices you will have to make, but let Him take care of those ahead and yo make them one at a time.  Ask for His help in those decisions when you have trouble deciding.  Trust in Him to give you the strength and wisdom you need.

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!...Psalm 34:8

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.  I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever....Psalm 23

GOD Bless!  Jesus is Marvelous!

  1. This is a very good lesson today. I almost feel like it is talking directly to me after having been Baptized this past Sunday. As if He is giving me a quick refresher course of how it is to give your life over to The Lord and how it is afterwards. Thank you GOD and Lord Jesus Christ for all you have done for me and others like me. These messages that Tim brings to us here have played a big part in my spiritual growth. It has already grown more than I could have ever imagined it would have in my whole lifetime! Therefore, I praise The Lord Jesus Christ and give thanks to Him everyday for the works He does, not just for me, but for all mankind.
    GOD Bless!
