Good Monday to all and GOD Bless!  I pray all are doing splendidly!

Opened today to the Prophet Nahum today, which I got long message last week from so apparently had more.  I read it again and got a different message, but this one was about the terror group Isis.

The Lord has given a command concerning you Nineveh:  You will have no descendants to bear your name.  I will destroy the images and idols that are in the temple of your gods.  I will prepare your grave, for you are vile......Nahum 1:14

Now here I see this as showing how Isis sees things, so they destroyed ruins of Nineveh recently, but this is example of how the Devil shows his falsehood .  For the rest of the message tells us the Truth.....

From you, Nineveh, has one come forth who plots evil against the Lord and devises wicked plans.......
I am against you, declares the Lord Almighty.  I will burn up your chariots in smoke, and the sword will devour your young lions.  I will leave you no prey on the earth.  The voices of your messengers will no longer be heard.........I am against you, declares the Lord Almighty.................Look at your troops--they are all weaklings.  The gates of your land are wide open to your enemies; fire has consumed the bars of your gates.............Nothing can heal you; your wound is fatal.  All who hear the news about you clap their hands at your fall, for who has not felt your endless cruelty.....

Nineveh is an Assyrian ruin in Iraq.


Trust in the Lord always, not just when things go well.  We tend to forget and grumble when things go badly.  There is always a reason for things.  There is always choice.  When we reach a fork in the road and have a choice to wait for the Lord in tough times as He is working in our lives or to go off half-cocked down the downward spiral of the wrong path. 
Also, when we have a quiet empty moment in our day or life, it is for a reason.  Do not sit and think oh my I am bored, or nothing is happening.  Something is always happening.  Use this time to focus on Him and to invite Him into our hearts, spending quality time with His Presence.  Give thanks for these times, for He is constantly working for us......

Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always....Psalm 105:4

I am the vine; you are the branches.  If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing....John 15:5
