April 17, 2015

Good Friday to all and GOD Bless!  I pray all are doing well this gorgeous day!  If anyone happened to view my video postings feel free to comment on them,

Opened to Acts 7-8 today for the daily message or messages.

Has not My hand made all these things?..................You stiff-necked people!  Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised.  You are just like your ancestors:  You always resist the Holy Spirit!  Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute?  They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One.  And not you have betrayed and murdered Him--you have received the law that was given through angels but have not obeyed it................(still the same today as it was then)

While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."  Then he fell on his knees and cried out, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them."  When he had said this, he fell asleep.
(up to the very end you have to acknowledge Him and ask forgiveness for and give forgiveness to others, then it is too late)

May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of GOD with money!
(GOD and/or entrance to Heaven can not be bought)

He was like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so He did not open His mouth.  In His humiliation he was deprived of justice.  Who can speak of His descendants?  For His life was taken from the earth.......(He accepted His fate and in all humility gave up the spirit to try and save all of us)   (Who of us could do that?)

Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?................I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.  Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must to do........This man is My chosen instrument to proclaim My name to the gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.  I will show him how much he must suffer for My name.......At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of GOD.  All those who heard him were astonished and asked, "Isn't he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name.......After many days had gone by there was a conspiracy among the Jews to kill him........He tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he really was a disciple..................(anyone can be called to bear witness to the Truth, no matter what their sin may be, for it is not for us to say)

In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha, she was always doing good and helping the poor.  About that time she became sick and died, and her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room.  Lydda was near Joppa, so when the disciples heard Peter was in Lydda, they sent two men to him and urged him, "Please come at once!"  Peter went with them, and when he arrived he was taken upstairs to the room.  All the widows stood around him, crying and showing him the robes and other clothing that Tabitha had made while she was still with them.  Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed.  Turning toward the dead woman, he said, "Tabitha, get up."  She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.  He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet.  Then he called for the believers, the widows, and presented her to them alive............
(Those who believe in Me, tho they were dead, yet shall they live.....)

GOD IS AWESOME!!!!

There are many distractions and obstacles in life, and we are bombarded by them via all senses.  Yet we must strive always to not be enslaved by this.  He desires for us to be steady in our faith and focus on His presence.  When the unexpected happens, note it and where it is coming from, the darkness.  Always trying to lead us off course...  Remain steadfast in your faith, talk to Him for guidance, help, hope, calming influence.  Let His peace calm you always.  Life is like a football field.  We go up against the toughest defense their is, the devil.  Sometimes we chip away at the yardage, a yard or foot at a time.  Sometimes we are thrown for a loss, sometimes we make a good gain and sometimes a long gain.  But always we must pick ourselves off, regroup, huddle with the Lord and continue forward on the field.  Never give up or quit at life.  The devil is in a losing battle and he knows it but will fight to the end.  So must you.  As you stay in constant communication with the Lord, the head coach, he will strengthen you with more and more strength of arms, angels, Holy Spirit, and you will gain a better offense and will be able to read the defense better.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your GOD.  I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand... Isaiah 41:10

GOD Bless!  Jesus is Marvelous!
