Good Friday to everyone and GOD Bless!  I know everyone is still busy relaxing or celebrating the holidays, so I have not posted a lot the last few weeks.  I will pick up more next week, Sunday I will not post.  Today's second post will have a very powerful message from the Lord!

Today I wish to share Psalm 62, which I opened to.

For GOD alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation.  He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress,; I shall not be greatly moved.
How long will you set upon a man to shatter him, all of you, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence?  They only plan to thrust him down from his eminence.  They take pleasure in falsehood.  They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse.  Selah
For GOD alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from Him.  He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.  On GOD rests my deliverance and my honor; my mighty rock, my refuge is GOD.
Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; GOD is a refuge for us.  Selah
Men of low estate are but a breath, men of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.  Put no confidence in extortion, set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them.
Once GOD has spoken; twice have I heard this:  that power belongs to GOD; and that to thee, O Lord, belongs steadfast love.  For thou dost requite a man according to his work.

He is your constant companion!  Do not get bogged down with the problems in your life.  He is your bearer of burdens!  He carried the weight of the world on His shoulders, and has conquered it. Learn to rest in His Peace and He will go before you.

"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have perfect peace and confidence.  In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer!  For I have overcome the world.  I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.
John 16:33

I was moved to speak on Faith.  To ask a very important question of you all, one that you, I and all other needs to ask ourselves.  To pass this question to others for their own introspective and for discussion as well.

Why do you believe in GOD?

Were you taught to?  Were you raised to?  Were you coerced to?  Were you led to?  Did something happen to cause you to?  Is it a matter of convenience?  Is it cause others do?  Is it out of fear of not being accepted or vice versa do you not believe for fear of not being accepted?  Is it like a fantasy and its fun to believe, to dream of what comes?  Is it in the hopes of attaining something or receiving something?  Why?  This is a very important question to ask yourselves.

Why do I believe?  That has probably changed thru my life and many of those reasons may have come into play.  I do know I always, as long as I can recall, have seen evidence of HIM.  My first message actually came to me in high school, I think in my freshman or sophomore year.  I will share it soon.  At the time I did not realize what it was, of course.  Now I know what it was.
I believe now, well the correct term now is I know GOD is real.  I know the Lord for He knows me too.  I know He is my brother, my Lord, my King, my friend, my teacher, my healer, my protector, my brother, my Father, my Redeemer.  I know He is here now and has always been in me.  The time now is a wondrous time amongst the turmoil in the world.  Things go on in the realm we do not see.  The more you open your heart, the more you may become aware.  It is nothing to fear, but to rejoice in.

So again ask yourself, why do I believe in GOD?

GOD Bless!
