blessed day or evening.
Beautiful day here again and hoping it is where you are
too. Prayers to those who are suffering
due to the tornadoes in the central USA.
Also for all the homeless, especially the children.
Today’s Bible messages come to us from Proverbs and Jeremiah…………….
Proverbs, chapters 3-6……
Grace…will go on your way….you will not be afraid….your
sleep will be sweet….have no fear of the wicked….from being snared
It is in your power to act….I’ll give it to you….you already
have it with you….
Do not envy….take confidence…He blesses the righteous
Shows favor to the humble…oppressed…
Pay attention and gain understanding…..My teaching
My Father and My Mother….hold with all your heart
Get wisdom, understanding…she will protect you…watch over
you
Cherish her and she will exalt you…grace your head
The years of your life…will not be hampered….you will not
stumble
Do not walk in the way of evildoers…..go on your way
They cannot eat the bread and drink the wine
Pay attention to what I say….My words…are life to one’s body
Guard your heart….everything you do flows from it
Look straight ahead…the paths for your feet…do not turn
right or left…..
The door…to the house….at the end of your life….in the assembly
of GOD’s people
The wife of your youth…you’re always with her…..
Your ways are in full view of the Lord
He examines all your paths
Who does evil will suddenly be destroyed
Seven…detestable to Him
Your Father…Mother will guide you….watch over you….speak to
you…a light to the way of life…
Jeremiah, chapters 18-21…
Say to the people….those living….this is what the Lord
says…..”I am preparing a disaster…turn from your evil ways….each one of you….”
A most horrible thing has been done by Israel….My people
have forgotten Me….to worthless idols…in the ancient paths…
I will scatter them before their enemies
The teaching of the Priest will not cease…(Pope)
Pay no attention..
Evil stands before you
Invaders ….have dug a pit..to capture….hidden snares….plots
The Lord…a potter….near…..Hear the Word of the Lord
I will make the ears of everyone who hears it tingle
Beware, the days are coming…when people will …fall by the
hands of those who want to kill them
They will eat the flesh of one another because their enemies
will press the siege hard against them
The court of the Lord…..will bring all….who were
stiff-necked..and would not listen to My words
The Upper Gate…of the Lord’s name…with your own eyes you
will see…I will take away all treasures…all wealth…all who live…will go into
exile…you who have deceived Me
The Word of the Lord….on every side….like a mighty warrior….
My persecutors will fail….
The righteous….sing to the Lord….praise the Lord….rescue the
needy….
You who are outside the wall…I will gather…inside….after
that….the people who survive the plague….sword and famine
Tell the people….this is what the Lord says…..”the way of
life and the way of death….whoever stays will die…..whoever surrenders….will
live”
Hear the Word of the Lord
(in other words, surrender to the Lord and live in eternity)
Soon as you awake ask Him to guide you through His path for
you today and ask for His protection.
Ask the Holy Spirit to control your thinking to guard you against all
darkness that tries to insinuate itself into your mind either directly or
through others that you encounter during the day.
Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do
not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature…..Romans 13:14
Compared to GOD we are infinitesimal, tiny,
insignificant. He is infinite, vast,
endless, eternal. We are so minute
therefore it is impossible for us to grasp the immensity of Him. This is wht people cannot see His face, for
we live in Him and He is in us.
Here is a good analogy……think of the Lord as an immense
balloon and we live within it. Now being
on the inside we cannot see the surface, Him.
At the same time we are in Him and breathing the air that is in Him He
is thus in us. Once we believe with all
our heart and soul, we pass through the boundary to the outer surface and
become one with Him.
For in Him we live and move and have our being. As some of your own poets have said, “We are
His offspring.”….Acts 17:28
Come near to GOD and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your
hearts, you double-minded…James 4:8
Which GOD will bring about in His own time---GOD, the
blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings, Lord of lords, who alone is immortal
and who lives in unapproachable Light, whom no one has seen or can see. To Him honor and might forever. Amen----1 Timothy 6:15-16
