Antebellum mansions of blue and gray
Visions of the past melting away
You were there my friend amongst the chaos
All the pain, suffering and loss
Soldier you were as was before
Many a time, many a war
In this life you were kept
Safe from battle, more adept
At saving souls for thine true purpose
Rescuing them from what lies before us
Final battle yet to come
After you're no longer numb
Deadliest foe yet to fight
Demons of the darkest night
You were chosen with the others
To save those without mothers
Swords of Light in thine hands
Before them all darkness disbands
You share the Words so faithfully
To those who believe and fall to knee
Others who doubt and turn aside
Father knows whats all inside
(Seeds grow slowly deep inside)
Go forward on thy path each day
Confident all darkness held at bay
You and all your sisters and brothers
Safe from all the evil that smothers
Valued targets for their arrows
Time they have quickly narrows
Ticking away on Heaven's clock
All shall bow down before the Rock
On this journey started long ago
When you were all given what you needed to know
(When first left the heavenly flow)
You said to Him, you would not fail
Did not even at final nail
All occurred as He foresaw
Had its purpose to amend His law
Forgiveness given at the start
Long before you played your part
Even Abdul had a role
Piece of the puzzle soon made whole
Rejoice my friend for father's love
Shines down on thee from Heaven above
Only one to first say yes
To journey on earth through all the mess
Soon to end as you'll be shown
Many with you, never alone...

*very informative to me, mentioning three previous lives of mine and my beginning.  Amazing, God is truly amazing.  Shows that all things are part of His plan so never doubt.
