Good Tuesday to all and GOD Bless!  Give thanks to the Lord for all the times we are humbled as a reminder of our vanity.  Read Ecclesiastes, a book written by Solomon after his Proverbs.  Messages have referred to it a few times, the answer lies in Ecclesiastes.


Opened to 2 Chronicles, coincidentally(?) about Solomon, on the pages I opened to.  They told about all he built and all the acclaim and wealth and warriors and wisdom he accumulated.  OK what was the message in that?  Well the pages ended telling that... Solomon reigned in Jeru-Salem over all Israel forty years.  And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father...2Chronicles 9:30-31

Message being, tho we accumulate all the riches and wisdom and power and possession and people; no matter who we are, we still pass away.  Nothing can stop that.  Why seek to accumulate that which serves us no good after we crossover?  We can not buy or bribe our way, we can not influence or lobby our way or butt kiss our way into Heaven.  Seek to accumulate spiritual wealth and make deposits in the Bank of Heaven.   Seek to understand GOD!

Jesus the Lord is our constant companion.  Staying focused on Him brings us peace.  His peace helps us to accomplish His purpose for us.  Do not seek shortcuts to that goal, but let His grace work at His pace in our lives.  You will reach that goal in His time anyways, so do not fight against Him.
