Good Tuesday to all and GOD bless! I hope it was an awesome day for everyone, full of the Lord's blessings in your life.
Opened today to Romans 3-5.
But now the righteousness of GOD has been manifested apart from law, although the law and the prophets bear witness to it, the righteousness of GOD through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction; since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD, they are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption which is Christ Jesus, whom GOD put forward as an expiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show GOD's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins; it was to prove at the present time that he himself is righteous and that he justifies him who has faith in Jesus.....Romans 3:21-26
We are forgiven, so continue to sin no more, never stop trying, never give up. When you do sin, get up dust yourself off and forgive yourself and move on.
Blessed are those whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not reckon his sin......Romans 4:7-8
Abraham obtained righteousness by faith, before there was the law or circumcision. .......
Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have obtained access to grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of GOD. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us , because GOD's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us. While we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly....
Romans 5:1-6
Even when in our time of suffering give thanks and never give up hope, for the Lord has plans for you.
But GOD shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we are now justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of GOD. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to GOD by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. Not only so, but we also rejoice in GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received our reconciliation.....Romans 5:8-11
Therefore as sin came into the world through one man (Adam) and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all men sinned---sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sins were not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come...
Romans 5:12-14
Adam was the "type" of the "One " who was yet to come. The same type of spirit. Through Adam sin and death came into the world and through Jesus, GOD gave us a way to overcome death and sin.
Like with Abraham, faith saves us from the life and eternity of death and sin.
Law came, in to increase the trespass; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord...Romans 5:20-21
The ultimate and primary example of how GOD made it so we were lowered so that he could through his grace and supremity, lift us back up to show his glory and righteousness. Lesson to learn? When going through tough time, keep in mind he will lift you back up to show YOU his glory and righteousness, just trust in Him and open your hearts to Him....
We all are at a crossroads! To follow Him completely we must take a leap of faith. Very difficult for us to do, trust me I know. We desire to live a risk-free life so we play it safe, which is a form of unbelief. Let the Lord lead you each day, take His hand and let Him guide you. He will take away your fear and anxiety, both of which are tools of the devil. In time you will learn to relax and enjoy your journey. Stay close to Him and He will guide you and protect you. It is hard to let go, as we are taught to be self-sufficient. Still be self-sufficient in human sense, but give control over to Him and He will lead you, you have to do the work though.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me....Psalm 23:4
GOD Bless!
