At the start
You were given your part
To play in GOD's cosmic plan
To be enacted upon earthly man
Little you knew at the time
For how long you'd share the Rhyme
Still you did go
With the little you did know
Blind faith like no others
None of thy sisters or thy brothers
Into the mix of soulful travel
As things slowly began to unravel
I bestowed upon you gift after gift
To help you to uplift
Those whom had strayed
Those who'd been waylaid
Into the mists and earthly ground
Words of Rhyme without any sound
Music the connection between here and there
Notes of concordance floating in air
Keys to unlock what had been hidden
That had dwelt within until they'd been bidden
To come forth to share with those who had need
Their souls in torment waiting to be freed
Others in time have aided your cause
Come and gone without pause
Some you had known at the start
Each had purpose, played their part
Some you did not until by your side
Where they remained to reside
Guarding, protecting, giving you strength
Helping you succeed, go to any length
Now at this time I shall start to reveal
As the blindness I shall repeal
Lay your eyes upon all the faces
Of those around thee from all places
In time and space and those of neither
Giving you time to take a breather
Before final push to save all you can
Of those who have been your fellow man
Misty companions shall follow thee home
Hearts full of joy no longer to roam
Friends and companions then too shall join
Turned aside from Caesar's coin
To the vault of eternal damnation
Michael shall lead through all condemnation
Bring back those who were ill-gotten
Who know now they were ne'er forgotten
Home to the joy of those they had lost
When they paid so high a cost
To your joy within inner core
To dwell forever as was told before
By her side, to face of GOD
Having served so long His Lightning Rod.....
