We climbed the hill to be taken
To save our brothers who were forsaken
Upon the ridge they lie bleeding
Cries of pain we were heeding
Brother oh brother where thou art
You fell to die for doing your part
Foolish leaders, foolish plans
Left to die at enemy's hands
Bullets flying all around
Men dying only sound
Up upon the rocky top
We proceeded unable to stop
Mission of ours to bring them back
Those lost to this foolish attack
Decoy of flesh we became aware
Sent by those who did not care
How many souls they lost that day
How many men they sent away
Safe upon their ships offshore
Playing at their own World War
You alone amongst our corp
Made it up off the sandy shore
? beach it was called         
Enemy dug in behind their wall
Oh the clouds up in the sky
Floating softly as we lie
In pools of blood slipping away
Home to go?  Decided to stay
Where you went could not follow
Buried in earth oh so hollow
Tell my wife I loved her so
As you got up to go
"See you soon," you had said
Crawled you did amongst the dead
Brother oh brother by your side
Again into hell we shall ride
This time a worthy fight it be
To set the Lord's chosen free
Death shall have no hold on us
Defeat it we shall and thus
Home for all eternity
Grace of GOD together we
Shall dwell among those puffy clouds
Within the love that forever enshrouds
Within the arms of those we love
In the Light of Sacred Dove....

Oh reminds me of white dove I saw other night late while walking my dog past cemetery.  Something startled me and I hear it in the branches of tree.  I shined flashlight up into tree and there it was, a white dove flapping amongst the branches in the late night of a cold winter night. 
Hmmm, angel or Holy Spirit? 


I was getting Ewa beach but that is in Hawaii or Utah beach which was Normandy but not rocky topped or high casualties.  It was World War and I assumed speaker knew me as my most recent life was in world war two.  The speaker mentioned going with me to the pit to rescue chosen there so he was speaking to me about me.  If anyone knows of a beach in world war two that sounds something like those two let me know.  Have not found anything as yet.
