Good day to all and GOD bless!  Hope all are enjoying the beautiful day, a wonderful day here in the valley, still in the 90's and nothing but sun.   Give thanks each day to the Lord for the day.

Continue to share as needed with others and look for opportunities to help those in need of anything.

Today's Bible message comes from way back in Judges, chapters 5-6......

Hear this..listen....sing to the Lord..praise the Lord...
When you arose....GOD chose the gates.....a shield...among..the volunteers....
praise the Lord, you who walk along the road, consider the voice of the singers at the watering places
they recite the Lord
the people of the gates take the remnant of the people whose roots were with the people, there was much searching of the heart.  For the flocks stayed beyond, lingered, remained.
From the Heavens the angel of the Lord did come to help against the mighty
Why is his chariot so long in coming?
So all your enemies perish
All who love you rise in strength
Evil was so oppressive, they did not spare a living thing.  They came like a swarm of locusts, invaded the land to ravage it.
The Lord sent a prophet, rescued you, delivered you, said to you, "I am the Lord", but you have not listened to Me.
The angel of the Lord is with you, a mighty warrior.
Where are all His wonders that our ancestors told us about?
"Pardon me", Gideon replied, "please do not go away"
The Lord said, "I will return"
The unleavened bread, place them on the Rock.  fire consuming the bread and disappeared
do not be afraid, you are not going to die
The WOOD, that you cut down, a burnt offering, because HE was sacrificed on the newly built altar
Whoever fights for Him can defend himself
The Spirit of the Lord will save you............


Be still, and know that I am GOD; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth....Psalm 46:10

I would like to share now an enlightenment, an epiphany if you will, that hit me last night.  As I have said before, the Bible is very multi-layered.  Every page has some hidden meaning or multi-meaning in it.  Well last night, I was at a healing class at church.  A large group of folks attended and we saw a video, the speaker not important here, where he mentioned the word boat.  A simple word, that triggered or unlocked a meaning to an oft read passage in Acts, I believe.
This passage is about where Paul is being taken to Rome and is on a ship bound for Rome, with a centurion guard.  In this passage it talks of a vicious storm that threatens to sink the ship, but an angel of the Lord comes to Paul and says that no one will be hurt as long as they all stay on the ship.
Of course the crew is all panicky and thing the gods are against them due to Paul so they want to throw him over board, but he shares what the angel told him.  Some wanted to swim for shore but he said no you cannot.
So they begin tossing all the cargo over and anything else they could find to toss.  In time all are safe as the storm passes and they anchor at port in Cyprus I think or one of the islands there.

Well I realized that the boat is all of us, or the group we were in last night, or any group you may be in.  That we are all in the same boat here in this life, that we cannot survive if we try and swim off on our own.  That if we stay together, work together, and get rid of all the cargo burden that we are carrying around, we can all make it through any storm.  Then we will reach the safe port of our Father's kingdom.
