To the fold!  To the fold!
I wandered the land so cold
In search of I know not what
Eyes wide open, heart so shut
She, denied me, lost to life
My joy, my love, my eternal wife
Sought so long through endless ages
Fought in wars across history's pages
She came to me in dreams I slept
All our secrets I've long kept
Traveled through time and space
Never again having beheld her face
Two truths apart, cannot be
What was a part, no longer of me
Times have come then didst pass
I've served my GOD and thus alas
No quarter I held couldst thus contain
My soul from passing another refrain
I saw her once within my dreams
Or was I awake, it all seems
So long ago, but wink of an eye
Never born was I, nor ever didst die
Pass from those whose bodies I dwelt
Then once more before GOD I knelt
"To what new life must I descend?
Ever serving until the end!"
"Sacrifice tis a thing well given
Through it, all comes spirit driven,"
Lord didst say
Upon the first I went away
"Joy of joys to thus attain
Never promised you'd feel no pain
My friend, My brother, I know thy grief
Saddness, sorrow, shall have relief
Unto the passage of those you'll send
Numbness you've had I'll soon/then amend
Each soul that passes thus will take
A piece of it for thy sake
To join with that, thy treasure in Heaven
Bread of thy life no longer unleaven
She I sent slowly awakes
Each time in temple she partakes
By your side I stood as ship didst sail
As well by her against the rail
Two souls I bound in eternal love
Only which tis given from above
Sent her to thee time and again
Through thy words you put to pen
Her touch of grace passed through thy heart
To calm thy soul whilst were apart
I too saw the love in thine eyes
As you didst not yet know the whys
For all things of GOD are for GOD alone
Until His Light on thee tis shown
Then the answers to all thy seek
Shall be given as thou kneel so meek
Humble as twas at thy creation
Angels shall sing in all elation
Together My friend, eternal grace
Beholding thy love's truest face....
