Through the mountains of smoke comes a path
Almighty hand having carved a swath
To reveal the way one must follow
Leading those who survived, all hollow
Interim leaders, to all fall short
Nothing of worth, trying to hold court
Even those of the cloth to fail in their attempts
For all GOD shall do pre-empts
What mankind attempts to reclaim
Seeking their own conceived fame
Trust not the words that flow forth
For they shall have no worth
To see the way through all the chaos
All the suffering to come, all the loss
One must value nothing of this broken world
All its colors distorted and swirled
Seek that which remains unseen
Look not ahead, behind but in-between
Layers of meaning deposited like silt
Leaves of the vine wither and wilt
Doers of evil spread their foul lies
Blinding more of the children's eyes
Unable to see they plummet down a slope
Continuing to lose all manner of hope
Unable to stop what does come
Rather be deaf, blind and numb
Eyes covered over with flash and pizzazz
Wanted what the other one has
Never happy nor satisfied
Forgetting all why the Christ died
Usurpers to throne that mankind built
Balancing upon nothing, begins to tilt
To fall away in due course of time
Revealed in Truth of future RhymePeace unto those
Nothing dismayed tis worth worrying about
Those who believe have no need to shout
Taking to heart what truly matters
Nothing in life to fall into tatters
By the time of each one's passing
Ready they'll be for life everlasting
Be as it may, few to believe
Hearing the words, but do not receive
Understanding, for look wrong direction
Trusting in mankind for correction
Guidance to come only through spirit
Look within then shall hear it
Shut out the noise that clouds the mind
Stumbling in darkness remaining blind
Light to guide you through those we've sent
Through time they've journeyed from Sacred Tent
All of a purpose to serve only He
Who created all before Sacred Tree
Peace unto those who heed the Words
That flowed through time of Sacred Thirds
For they find their place at the table of Feast
Forever safe from the belly of the beast...
